Greetings Patrick

It may interest you to know that a new introductory study on 'New Chinese
Cinemas' is being published by Wallflower Press in December 2001 (via
Columbia University Press in North America).

Although this is a 40,000 word introduction for entry-level undergraduates
it does include sections on the representation of women in Chines films of
1980s and 1990s.
