have you tried to license an episode from the off net distributor? As an
Aaron Spelling Production, I assume those rights would be handled by
Paramount Domestic Television (since they have acquired Worldvision).

If you want to go w/ a less licit means (which I do not condone) there is a
Dynasty Web wring (try http://stianp.freeservers.com/) that has a forum
(http://members4.boardhost.com/presthus) where I believe traders might swap
tapes....

Also, I think I have seen some boots in some comic/fan stores...i think the
pilot episode.

Dear Gloria: You might try EBay or some other auction venue. That's how
I've gotten some out-of-print videos. Another idea is to check various
video rental establishments where you are, to see if anyone has a copy (for
rent or purchase). Or, you could ask your students--sometimes one of my
students has a video of a television show that I don't have. Good luck.

I am teaching a course on film&TV of the Eighties. I put
*Dynasty* on the syllabus and I later found out that it is not
available for purchase, nor is it in syndication. Does anybody have
a lead?
        Thank you,

        Gloria Monti
