I need an intro to film text for a film and literature course. The students
are generally English and Liberal Studies majors with little experience in
film analysis. I'm considering _The Critical Eye_; can anyone comment on its
usefulness, or suggest a better alternative? I'd also be interested in
favorite text/film combinations from those who teach film and lit courses.
Thanks,
