Dear Colleagues,
This may seem like a very strange request, but I am hoping there maybe
someone out there who might be able to help.
I have been commissioned to present a paper at a conference at the end
of this year, which will explore the link between Verdi and the
cinema.
My paper will examine Verdi and the silent screen.
I am particularly interested in locating two films - or material
relating to them.

They are:
AIDA (Italy, 1911)
Production Company: Film d'Arte Italiana
and
GIUSEPPE VERDI NELLA VITA E NELLA GLORIA (Italy 1913)
Director: De Liguoro
Production Company: Labor Film

So far, I have had very little success, and would welcome any
suggestions that you might have.
Or, indeed, any thoughts about other equally interesting material.
Please feel free to respond off-list - [log in to unmask]
Many thanks,
Regards,
Paul.
