        For further thinking about the issues on authorship that emerged with
the search for Godard, especially concerning the debate on the death of
the author for those authors who have historically been excluded from the
process of production, I recommend the following:
 
        Roof, Judith, and Robyn Wiegman, eds.  *Who Can Speak?: Authority
and Critical Identity.*  Urbana: U of Illinois P, 1995 ($13.95 paperback).
