Jane Campion's most recent film, _Holy Smoke_, received very mixed reviews
and was screened only in select cities in the USA. I thought that her
treatment of the battle of the sexes was smart at times as she tackled the
issue of againg masculinity. But I was bothered by her treatment of India.
I was reminded of her treatment of the Mauris in _The Piano_. Were other
viewers bothered by Campion's treatment of India?
