An amendment to the advice about where to student film preservation

>>>> "L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation at George Eastman
House in Rochester, NY. This is considered the best school (if not the
only school) "
>>>>

The Selznick School is indeed a very fine program. However there are
now some other programs to consider.

Selznick offers a 9-month cetificate program.

The University of East Anglia offers a master's degree in Film
Archiving.

UCLA now offers an M.A. in Moving Image Archiving Studies, combining
their Film and Television Archive with the Dept. of Film, TV, Digital.

NYU's Cinema Studes Dept. has admitted its first class of grad students
for its M.A. in Moving Image Archiving and Preservation.

All excellent.
