        Call for Films: Arizona State University College of Education Film
and Video Festival: The Celluloid Curriculum. February 1-4, 2001, Tempe, AZ.
Deadlines: Nov. 25, 2000 (Category III) and Jan. 1, 2001 (Categories I and
II). The festival theme is "Life in Schools." Films and videos (on 1/2" VHS)
that portray the lives and work of students, teachers, and other school
personnel will be considered in the competition. Documentary and fiction
films by students and adults (both amateur and professional video and
filmmakers) are welcome.  Entries will be judged in three categories:
Category I: Submissions by elementary (K-8) school students (no entry fee);
Category II: Submissions by secondary (9-12) students ($10.00 entry fee per
film); and Category III: Submissions by post-secondary (college) students
and other adults ($25.00 entry fee per film). Films may be up to 90 minutes
in length.

        All films must be submitted in VHS format and accompanied by
postage-paid return packaging. Submissions without return packaging will be
