For Hannu Salmi:

"For the First Time" is a wonderful 11-minute film about rural Cubans
seeing their first motion picture. A Cuban Film Institute mobile
film unit travels to a village deep in the mountains to screen
Chaplin's "Modern Times." The images of the people's faces watching
a film "for the first time" are still vivid, even though I haven't
seen it for almost 20 years.
