Bert Deivert referred to Red Scare documentaries that were to Communism
what "Reefer Madness" was to dope.  As a sidebar, you might want to track
down a brilliant spoof that SCTV did, which featured rocker Dave Edmunds
as a singer named Rusty Something-or-other.  The sketch took place in a 50's
beat coffee shop, where ludicrously sinister commies lured young kids to
their doom with that new devil music.  Eugene Levy was an agitator who
looked suspiciously like Lenin himself.  Sorry I don't remember more, but
it's been years.  If anyone here on the list does have a tape of that
particular show, I'd love to see a copy myself.
