Heaven's Gate - by Michael Cimino was a 40 million dollar "Bomb", biggest bomb
of it's time (early 80s I think), ultimately sunk United Artists. There's a
book about it called "FINAL CUT" by Steven Bach.
 
Hudson Hawk -- a bruce Willis movie, about 70 million, total flop--got press
as the biggest flop of all time...
 
Cleopatra -- Don't know how this did at the box office, but I do know that E.
Taylor was paid $7,000,000 for the title role...so the movie must have cost a
lot.
 
The Ten Commandments -- Biiig budget, but made it all back, I think...
