For what it's worth, my rather sketchy information is:
 
1.  Jerry Lewis did indeed star in a film called "The Day The Clown
Cried."  The film, I think, was about a clown who entertained the
children in the Nazi death camps as they headed for the gas chambers.
I don't think the film was ever released to theaters, and I'm not
sure if it is available on cassette.
 
2.  The Meredith Baxter TV film on bulemia was called "Kate's
Secret."  The character checks into an eating disorders clinic.  The
network may have been NBC, but I'm not entirely sure, and I'm afraid
I have no information on the film's availability.
