The music video with the doll with the vibrating arm was directed by Fred
Stuhr. The band is Tool, the song is "Sober." I happen to love that video.
Never seen work by the Quay brothers. There's a similar video of a Tool
song, "Prison Sex," directed by somebody else (Adam Jones or something).
 
I'd say that ripping off other artists ideas can be a great thing. Isn't that
how all art is made? It's how I work. Hell, I don't even know the extent
to which I've ripped who off. It'd be impossible to prevent anyway.
