Re. the request last week for films with computer saavy female characters:
 
we overlooked the rather early (late '80s ?) film, Rosalie Goes
Shopping.  An interesting film among the cyberspace themed because Rosalie
is not a victim of computing but actually takes on a corporate entity by
telecommuting from her kitchen.
