ANNOUNCING THE 1995
SET IN PHILADELPHIA SCREENWRITING COMPETITION
 
The Philadelphia Festival of  World Cinema presented by International
House of Philadelphia is pleased to announce the third annual "Set in
Philadelphia" Screenwriting Competition. The Competition is co-sponsored
by the Greater Philadelphia Film Office. It is open to all screenwriters,
nationwide, who submit an original feature length screenplay which is set
primarily in the Greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area.  All genres will
be accepted and scripts will be judged upon their overall quality and the
extent to which they tell a genuine Philadelphia story.
 
PRIZES:
* $3,000 prize money.
* Written story notes by an industry professional.
* Two tickets to Opening Night Film and Party and Ten Screening Pass to
the Fourth Annual Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema.
 
DATES:
All screenplays must be postmarked on or before Friday, January 20, 1995.
Winners will be announced during 1995 PFWC in May, 1995.
