I'm from Little Rock, Arkansas, but I heard Cal State Northridge has a
good program. CSUN -- I KNOW they have great animation festivals!!  I've
been to a couple.  It's in the valley, about 20 minutes north of Hollyweird.
Might be worth checking out.  It's a great kind of suburbian area too.
