The Department of Cinema Studies inthe Tisch School of the Arts at New
York University is seeking one tenure-track Assistant Professor
beginning September 1, 1993.
 
The responsibilities involve teaching five courses per year at both the
undergraduate and graduate level.  These will include core courses in
film history and/or theory as well as elective courses in film and
television studies inthe candidate's area of specialization.
 
A Ph.D. in Cinema Studies or a related field witha  strong commitment to
undergraduate teaching required.
