SXSW Film Conference and Festival provides you with a unique place to
listen to and learn from the best voices in all phases of independent
filmmaking, as well as showcasing the best new independent films. The
confeence expands in 1998 with four days of panels, workshops,
mini-meetings and industry mentoring sessions.
Speakes hsve included Susan Bodine, Rana Joy Glickman, Ruby Lerner,
Emanuel Levy, John Pierson, Richard Linklater, Robert Rodriquez, John
Sloss, Kevin Smith, Steven Soderberg, Quentin Tarantino and Deborah
Zimmerman, Films have included: Chasing Amy, Schizopolis, In the
Company of Men, Family Name, Full Tilt Boogie, Still Breathing,
Traveller, Letter from Waco and Pin Gods.
 
INTERACTIVE
March 14-17, 1998
 
SXSW Interactive Festival brings together content providers, web
designers and multimedia producers for three days of panel
discussions and networking. In addition to learning tips and
techniques regarding the newest technologies, attendees gain
important informatin from industry experts on how to advance their
career in the ever-expanding field of new media. Speakers have
included John Bates, Jim Bumgardner, Nicholas Butterworth, Thomas
Dolby, Jamie Fragen, Richard Garriott, Lisa Goldman, Buzz Hays, Hal
Josephson, Bill Kolomyjec, Jaron Laniew, J.J. Rosen , Todd Rundgren
and Bruce Sterling.

In its twelfth year, the South By Southwest Music and Media
