Mick asks:
" Does anyone know of any American films that show specific scenes of
families' Thanksgiving celebration."

You can go back to the Pilgrims with PLYMOUTH ADVENTURE (1952), with Spencer
Tracy or the more recent SQUANTO. For contemporary family scenes, one of
the best uses of the holiday as a recurring event is in Barry Levinson's
AVALON. HOLIDAY INN doesn't exactly have a family celebration as such, but
it is one of the holidays on which Bing and Astaire perform. There are also
a couple of TV movies: THANKSGIVING DAY, with Mary Tyler Moore, and
THE THANKSGIVING PROMISE, featuring the Lloyd Bridges brood.
