Not to appear ungrateful, but my original posting clearly stated that the
advisory concerned editing for content, not format.  I am quite aware of
the various ways images are tinkered with when films are put on video.
I think we should all be careful about misquoting someone and then thereby
mputing a lack of knowledge to that person. However inadvertent and
well-intentioned such an error might be, it can still ruffle feathers.
Randy Riddle's  suggestion
>This may have to do with licensing of music or some kind of visuals for the
sounds like it's on the right track.  If it is, that also probably means
that it could be almost impossible to detect a difference unless you were
to do a synchronized comparison of  a film and a tape version of  THEREMIN.
