This question arose on this list a couple of months ago, and in most cases
using an original (non-duplicated) version of a work for educational
purposes is allowed. I am not sure if there is a prohibition on the
exhibition if there is a fee charged.

I am sure that these cases do not achieve Napster-esque proportions,
however,in light that many readers of this list themselves derive earnings
from copyrighted works--and are also engaged in educating others--that
proper clearances are obtained or that observances of the laws are
maintained.
