    The problem is, there might be nothing left of the "tone."  Bad money
drives out good.

    There are, and I found out about screen-l because somebody posted the
list address on cinema-l.  So this can be done periodically.

     Have you heard about the Arizona lawyer who sent millions of messages
advertising his green card service to every address on Usenet?  This is one of
the new Usenet "needs."
