CFP: Hong Sang-soo

The ‘New Review of Film and Television Studies’ plans to publish a special
issue on Hong Sang-soo.

Academic papers that explore Hong Sang-soo’s films from the following
perspectives are particularly welcome:

Aesthetics
Genre
Auteur
Thematic/interpretive/narrative analysis
Economic analysis (funding, box office figures)
Reputation (particularly in relation to the Film Festival Circuit)

Please email an abstract (circa 200 words) to the special issue editor,

by January 15 2013

All authors will be notified by January 31.

Submission date for completed papers is August 1 2013 and will be published
in 2014 as a special issue of the ‘New Review of Film and Television
Studies’.
