Ernest Pintoff's THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO AMERICAN FILM SCHOOLS has just been
published by Penguin (ISBN 0-14-07226-2):  US$15.95.
 
I don't know how it compares to The American Film Institute's guide, but it
might be worth a look.
 
Penguin was offering an academic discount price of US$12.76, but you may
have to prove university-affiliation to get it.
