With apologies for cross posting.

The European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) is a learned society of communication scholars devoted to development of communication research and higher education in Europe.
Within ECREA, the Young scholars' Network (YECREA) represents early-career members of the Association.

YECREA's main objectives are to give a voice to early-career scholars within ECREA and to provide them with an international network. Each thematic section of ECREA has a management team comprised of three senior scholars and one early-career researcher, elected as a YECREA representative. If you would like to collaborate with the Association in this capacity, this is your chance!

Being a YECREA representative is a great opportunity to learn how a big scholarly association like ECREA works, as well as one to network with more senior researchers in your field. There are currently 2 vacant positions, one for the TV studies section and one for the Ethics of Mediated Suffering temporary working group.

If your research is in one of these fields, please consider applying! Representatives can decide, together with their management team, how much time to commit to the position, and how they would like to contribute. It could be a valuable opportunity to get experience, for example, as communication officer, to learn how to plan a conference, review abstracts, or to organise the scholarly event you think your field needs.

More details on how to apply can be found here: http://yecrea.eu/2022/03/09/call-for-two-yecrea-representative-2022/
More information about the sections, networks and temporary working groups can be found here: https://ecrea.eu/Sections

Deadline: 23rd March 2022

If you have any questions or concerns, please email the YECREA management team: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
