THE 7th ANNUAL CHICAGO UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL now accepting submissions
for our 2000 Festival. For submission applications  http://www.cuff.org

Seeking features, shorts, documentaries, experimental films and  animation
that defy and transcend the "indiewood" mainstream.

The Chicago Underground Film Festival is designed to showcase the defiantly
independent filmmaker. Our mission is to promote films and videos
that dissent radically in form, technique, or content from the "indie"
mainstream presenting works that challenge and transcend commercial
expectations...if you suspect your film is "underground," it probably is.

FORMATS: 35mm, 16mm, Super8, Video (NTSC)

EARLY DEADLINE: April 15, 2000 LATE DEADLINE: June 1, 2000
FEES: $20 Early; $35 Late

FESTIVAL DATES: August 18-24, 2000
