Many thanks to all the watchdogs (!) - yes, ofcourse Basil Rathbone
played Holmes.  A careless mistake on my part which has caused
confusion - sorry.
 
Can anyone help to locate a copy of the screenplay for the 1939
version of "The Hound of the Baskervilles", written by Ernest Pascal
and starring Basil Rathbone as Holmes?
