Is the search for films that record the struggle
of immigrants or films of all sorts concerning
an immigrant subject or subjects?
The Joy Luck Club explores/compares life in China with
life in the U.S., and then compares that with second
generation immigrants.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding addresses the subject with the
perspective that the American national is the outsider.

Somebody named "The Wedding Banquet," by Ang Lee.

I think Pushing Hands is also a good possibility.
