Dear Sheila Brynjulfson,

Eric Schaefer completed his PhD dissertation on Exploitation cinema,
1915-1960, at the University of Texas at Austin in Fall 1994. His
dissertation (available through UMI) will be published by Duke University
Press. It won the SCS dissertation award in 1996. He has a remarkable list
of films in his appendix as well as an excellent bibliography (says his
proud advisor!) Good luck, Janet
