                1997 SXSW FILM-MULTIMEDIA-MUSIC  FESTIVAL
 
                        SXSW FILM FESTIVAL AND CONFERENCE
                                            March 7-15, 1997
 
The SXSW Film Conference will enhance your professionalism, further
your knowledge of filmmaking technology and processes, while
introducing you to the right people. Two days of panels and workshops
will feature some of the most knowledgable speakers in the
independent film world. For consideration in the festival,
submissions and applications are expected from September 1, 1996
through December 16, 1996.
 
                                SXSW MULTIMEDIA FESTIVAL
                                             March 8-11, 1996
 
A four-day immersion in the world of interactive media, whether you
want an introduction to the industry or technical tips on the latest
applications. The festival is designed to focus on the creative side
of interactive media, with plenty of activities and great
opportunities to meet the region's hottest multimedia talent. Tour
Austin's multimedia facilities, attend panel discussions and in-depth
workshops, get expert, one-on-one advice during mentor sessions,
check out some of the nemest products and ideas in the trade show,
and meet other festival goers during daily receptions.
 
                    SXSW MUSIC AND MEDIA CONFERENCE
                                          March 12-16, 1996
 
Three days of stimulating programming for all areas of music and
media industries through workshops, panel discussions, mentor
sessions, and demo critiques. Major and independent labels,
producers, agents, journalists, club owners, etc... will be present.
