I'm surprised no one has added THE BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN to the list of
films dealing with revolution.  Its very production was to sustain and promote
a fairly recent revolution. The historical incident it concerns, while not
a part of the Russian Revolution, was certainly a part of the events in the
previous decade the revolution.  (Maybe someone has mentioned it, but
I have forgotten.)
