Hello,
I have finally decided to go to my local state school for a filmmaking
degree rather than going to one of the big name schools for a couple reasons.
I started at USC last summer but I really felt uncomfortable in the area and
the book we used in the class was the same one I had used in film classes at
my local college so I decided that I will go to state and save (my life) and
my money for making a movie since it appears I am going to get a similar
education at either school. In terms of prestige I am hoping that a good film
is more important than a known school, also I will try to intern at different
film studios. Anyway that is my little story. I think that each person has to
take there own life and work around it, in my case I think this is the best
decision - please let me know what you decide. God bless, audrey
