Dances with Films Festival of the Unknowns (DWF)-May 6th thru 9th, 1998

DWF will be a compoetitive events that will feature a line up of
sxteen full-length narrative films and sixteen narratve shorts. DWF's
mission is to open a venue for new and up-coming filmmakers to
present their work without the fear of big player politics over
shadowing their screen time.
All pieces additted for screening at the festival shall be selected
using only one major creteria- the films must be completed with no
known individuals within any element of the given project. This is
defined by: no known directors, actors, producers, monies from known
production companies. One other rule? A completion date of no earlier
than January of 1996. Other than that all submissions are fair game.
Held in Los Angeles, arguably the world capital of the film industry,
Dances with Films will be a four day evet geared solely tenacity to
live their dreams in a "who did you say you were?" industry.
