PHILADELPHIA STORIES: The "Set in Philadelphia" Screenwriting
Competition is accepting submissions nationally for original feature
length screenplays set primarily in the Greater Philadelphia
Metropolitan Area.
 
All genres accepted; scripts judged on quality and extent to which
they tell a genuine "Philadelphia Story".
 
AWARDS: $3,000 prize money, Festival passes, story notes, meeting
with an industry professional.
 
POSTMARK DEADLINE: January 21, 1994.
ENTRY FEE: $20
 
The competition is sponsored by the Philadelphia Festival of World
Cinema presented by International House of Philadelphia; co-
sponsored by the Greater Philadelphia Film Office.
 
Winner(s) announced May 1994, during the 3rd Annual Philadelphia
Festival of World Cinema.
