Henry...thought you (and others) might like to know about my favorite
listing of films by genre:
Films by Genre: 775 Categories, Styles, Trends and Movements Defined,
with a Filmography for Each
Daniel Lopez Jefferson, NC/McFarland & Company, 1993
It has a number of categories relating to water:
Sea Films Underwater Movie Submarine War Film Pirate Films
One nice thing about the book is that it defines each genre, lists
related ones and has the filmography in chronological order. It also
includes TV programs.
Go well, Martha
