I was wondering if anyone on the list has ever come across the play upon
which Renoir's adaptation of Mirbeau's "Diary of the Chambermaid" was
based.

It was written by: Andre De Lorde, Andre Heusse, and Thielly Nores.

I have pretty much exhausted all the reference material I could find.

If you have seen this text, could you possibly give me the reference -
especially the year of publication and/or production.

As well, could anyone refer me to a decent database (online or not) that
would cover French Theater in the late 1800's, early 1900's?

Thank you,
