I heard an item on the radio about tourists who have been lured
to Madison County since the publication of the novel, The Bridges
of Madison County, and preparations for a much greater volume of
tourism expected to follow the release of the Clint Eastwood-Meryl
Streep movie based on the book. Apparently the good citizens are
being advised by their Field of Dreams counterparts elsewhere in
Iowa.
