Abby--
I don't know of a WWII list, but this is my opportunity to plug (again)
teaching Capra's PRELUDE TO WAR (made for the defense dep't in the WHY WE
FIGHT series, first intended as indoctrination for US soldiers, but later, I
believe, put into general release). Most fascinating aspect for your purposes
may be Capra's very overt, explicit use of gangster film conventions in his
portrayal of enemy leaders. A must-see for the purpose you describe, I think.
Hope this isn't seriously old news, though I realize it may well be so.
