i agree -- this is an exceptionally scornful director, aware of the paradigms
of ideological criticism -- highly motivated by cash and a perverse need to
rub his audiences' collective face in the vile entertainments he obviously
does not believe in.
 
Much instructive comments could be made about the parallels between him and
the equally vile tarantino. This is postmodernist contempt to the nth degree.

we deserve..."
