HI Carol,

I did a little google search for you on the phrase "fully ordered by sexual
imbalance."  Google too me to the following website which is about David
Rodowick's the Difficulty of Difference:

This might be your source since there is an extensive discussion of Mulvey.

Google searches for phrases are great.  I have tracked down 2 or 3
plagiarisms there.
