Jay Ruby asks for references to VALLEY TOWN. I have a vague recollection
that he has something to say about it in an interview with Harrison
Engle that appeared in the Spring 1965 Film Comment. Willard Van Dyke
also wrote a piece on Documentaries of the Thirties in the University
Film Association Journal, v.25:45-6 n.3 in 1973.
I look forward to any other references. Perhaps Jay could post whatever
he comes up with.
