If you consider the Dr. Jekyll story to be 'sci-fi' then
may I recommend DR. JEKYLL AND SISTER HYDE, a 1972 film which
has the good doctor turning not into a monster, but into a woman.
Wait -- perhaps I don't actually 'recommend' it.
Let's just say I submit it as an addition to the list.
