School of American and Canadian Studies Institute of Film Studies Two Postdoctoral Research Assistants For the project Film Consumption and the City A Historical Case Study in Nottingham The institute has just received funding from the AHRB for the above research project and is looking to appoint two research assistants to the project. The appointments will be at postdoctoral level and start on May 1st (although some flexibility may be possible) for 9 months in the first instance. We will hear in May if the AHRB will be funding the project beyond February 2000, and hope to be able to extend these contracts. One researcher will need an expertise in surveying and/or interviewing the general public, while the second will need an expertise in archival research.
