I am curious about films which feature a special trailer featuring footage that is obviously not in the film, in which an actor appears in character telling the audience not to watch the film, which is something their character would naturally do, usually juxtaposed with scenes that are supposed to make you want to see the film and the character as a blowhard. I know I've seen some like this, but I can't think of any titles. I would also be interested in knowing how well such films did after that tactic was used. Off the subject, does anyone know where I could find British phone directories online, I can only find American ones. Freddy [the neighbor]: Mine was pretty boring, too. I've just got a knack for picking out the interesting bits. --David Williamson _Travelling North_ Act Two Scene Three ---- Online resources for film/TV studies may be found at ScreenSite http://www.tcf.ua.edu/screensite
