JACOBS LADDER and VIDEODROME comes to mind. The mix-up between 'reality'
and delusion is quite cleverly exploited in  BRAINDEAD, a relative unknown
horror film by, if my memory is correct, Adam Simon, not to be mistaken for
kiwi Peter Jacksons film with the same title.
