To the best of my knowledge, such "jobs" don't exist except on a piecemeal basis as attachments to individual writers or producers. The days when Hollywood studios hired writers direct (much less researchers), are long gone. And unfortunately, agents are likely to throw your CV in one of those mythical dumpsters which are supposed to be in laneways at the back of their offices. Best for you to approach writers direct if you want work as a researcher. If I were you I'd put an ad in the hard copy version of "Written By", which is the journal of the Writers Guild of America (West). If your profile is up to scratch, you might get a response. And depending on how you feel about sending unsolicited Email, the WGA site also has a listing of members' web sites. Personally, I wouldn't engage in such an undignified exercise but then I'm a retiring Aussie. As a starting point the URL for "Written By" is "http://www.wga.org/journal/".
