Also you may want to consider episodes of _The Simpsons_ in which Lisa's problematic relationship to the Malibu Stacy doll (an obvious Barbie stand-in) takes center stage. Also interesting about these episodes is the identification of Waylon Smithers as the President of the Malibu Stacey Fan Club.
