Dear Screen-Lers-- apologies in advance for any clutter caused by my cross-posting of this message to H-Film. I have an undergraduate student who is interested in doing an independent study project on Native American Film. She is an interdisciplinary studies major with strong leanings toward anthropology, and she would like to study documentary/ethnographic film made by self-identified Native American Indian filmmakers (perhaps in contrast to work done by non-native filmmakers). Any suggestions for titles and resources? This student is very energetic and smart, so the more the better. Thanks in advance to all knowledge-sharers.
