the on going exchange on possible "fascist" meanings in 2001 prompts a, for me,
perenniel question, one that might be somewhat more addressable than usual in
the more specific context of kubrick's film . . .
 
    the question,  to put it most bluntly: WHAT IS  "FASCISM"? . . . or, perhaps
easier to deal with, to those participants in the conversation who have chosen
to use the term "fascist"-- what, exactly, do YOU mean when you use that term?
