Two seem available: "October (Ten Days that Shook the World)," a newly remastered version with score by Shostakavich, 104 min; and "Ten Days that Shook the World (October)," in Video Accu-Speed, a process billed as returning the film to its original running time and duplicating the speed at which the film was photographed. Silent with organ score. 120 min. These are listing in "Movies Unlimited: Video Catalog." I know from the few holdings in our library that "Ten Days" was the title for the shortened American release--an exploitation of John Reed's book--and that the American version lacks the religious satire of the Soviet release. I'm confused, however, by the titling and length of these versions, and would like to pass on to my colleagues any info and recommendations.
